Po cepljenju s inaktiviranim cepivom (Sinopharm) pride do spremembe večih biokemijskih in fizioloških parametrov, podobno kot pri sami okužbi s SARS-CoV-2 (kar nakazuje na mehanistično povezanost). To kaže, da je pri populaciji, ki ima pridružena predobstoječa bolezenska stanja, biti posebej previden pri cepljenju.
Pa še povsem laični dodatek:
Kar pa seveda ne pomeni, da jih ne cepit, ampak preverjat njihovo klinično sliko in spremljat stanje. V osnovi pa to ne spremeni risk/benefit analize, kajti za populacijo, ki ima pridružena predobstoječa bolezenska stanja, vemo da je njihova prognoza ob potencialni okužbi zelo slaba. Avtorji niti v eni točki ne pokažejo/trdijo da je tveganje pri cepljenju vsaj primerljivo s samo okužbo.
Glede na to, da so se ukvajali z Sinopharm cepivom, bi zelo verjetno bila identična študija s mRNA cepivi in risk/benefit analiza še veliko boljša (glede na vse klinične podatke, ki jih imamo, s tem da so za Sinopharm precej okrnjeni, saj je glavnina podatkov nedostopna - zanesljivi podatki za celotno Kitajsko.
