Vladavina prava, osebna svoboda, socialna država. Ali drugače - vse česar Rusija nima.

1) Zahod Ukrajini ne dobavlja nobenega orožja.

2) Poročilo HRW je tako-tako, pri pripravi so sodelovali s predstavniki separatistov. Ne morem pa trdit, da Ukrajinci 100% ne uporabljajo kasetnih bomb. HRW je že predtem mnogokrat kritiziral pro-rusko stran, od izginotij in eksekucij pred aneksacijo Krima naprej. Ali zadnji primer, ko so na hladno postavili rusko zunanje ministrstvo, ki je bilo nekoliko preglasno okoli poročila.

But there are also serious allegations that pro-Russian rebel forces, and possibly Russia itself, have used cluster munitions in eastern Ukraine. All parties to the conflict in Eastern Ukraine have access to the same weapons, so it is not always possible to draw definitive conclusions with respect to specific attacks. In one case we documented in our report, cluster munitions killed 3 civilians and injured 17 in Starobesheve, a village south of Donetsk. The attack took place during a major offensive by Russian-backed rebels against Ukrainian armed forces, who eventually abandoned the area with very significant losses.

The international community should indeed press the Ukrainian authorities to stop using cluster munitions. If the Russian authorities are sincere in their condemnation, they should publicly commit to not use cluster munitions or supply them to the rebels, and should join the international treaty banning their use. Moreover, they should also press pro-Russia rebels not to use these weapons and investigate allegations that they did use them.


3) Spartak je najbližji sosed letališča v Donetsku. Prve zgradbe so cca 250 m od steze, dober kilometer od terminalov. Na Z imaš recimo Pisky, vas pod ukrajinsko kontrolo. Na žalost so se njihovi domovi znašli na fronti.

NATO has tracked four groups of Russian military aircraft "conducting significant military manoeuvres" in European airspace over the past two days.

"These sizeable Russian flights represent an unusual level of air activity over European airspace," it said.

The aircraft included strategic bombers, fighters and tanker aircraft over the Baltic Sea, North Sea, Atlantic Ocean and the Black Sea.

Moja verzija je, da so tanki in (pro)ruska artilerija (nekaj govori o GRADih) razsuli ukrajinsko kolono, nato pa jim je nekako uspelo zajet 5 tankistov z vsaj enim tankom.

Kontraktniki so profesionalna ruska vojska, v nasprotju z naborniki.

Upam, da tank po hitrem postopku odvlečejo v Kijev in pripravijo tiskovko za svetovne medije.

Se že veselim ruskih izgovorov.

Both takes were wrong: the Antonov design bureau, the producer of An-26 planes, is a Ukrainian company founded in Soviet times, and the plane in question belonged to a Latvian-registered company, ironically called RAF-Avia.
