To je bil mit oz. na papirju se je tko zdelo, ker so plazme mele nižje ločljivosti kot LCDji. Zdaj so na voljo za isti oz. še manj denarja full HD plazme z vsemi zgoraj naštetimi prednosti prot LCD.
Tudi resolucija drugače ni tako važna kakor na prvi pogled...toliko več pik toliko bolje...ne drži, sploh pri SD signalu. Full HD ločljivost je toliko pik, da je že višek, ampak razlika a imaš 720p vsebino ali pa 1080p je vidna tudi na HDredy plazmi, ni tako, da zdaj pa za 1080p pa mora biti FHD plazma, res je treba sedet blizu, da bi to veljalo. Meni je bolj kot ločljiovst važna kvaliteta panela (barve, kontrast ipd.), to so lastnosti, katere se vidijo iz 5 metrov ne pa da moraš na 2m pridet pred 50" plazmo da ločiš.

- Black level and contrast... I'm so happy I can watch movies at home AGAIN and not only Teletubbies and bright content (I mean The Matrix, Star Wars... Has anybody tried to watch Sweeney Todd on a LCD???)

"If you don't like gaming I can't recommend a LCD which IMHO, is the only reason why I would prefer a LCD over a plasma, or in a room plenty of light and windows. Regarding the resolution, 720p is perfect even for Blu-ray movies if you plan to sit 5 feet away and farer... I'm absolutely amazed with the PQ of the set with SD and DVB, and yes, it's perfect for sport. My only complain would be the sound... and the stand, but that's nothing compared with the overall opinion. Trust me, you can't go wrong with this set.
I can't tell regarding the other options as I haven't seen them. I was checking other Panny sets (1080p) but after seen it by myself I decided that I couldn't perceive the difference."
