Hello, last week I received a visit from the national frequency agency (ANFR). Apparently the RTK antenna of my LUBA 2 robot lawn mower jams radio frequencies and is the cause of disturbances several kilometers away. They acted on a report from companies and then took lots of technical measures to get to my house.

According to their report received a few days later, roughly:

"the disturbance is due to non-compliance with the technical criteria of the frequency band 868 – 868.6 MHz with a frequency occupancy rate of around 30%.

[...]

In the present case, this concerns the use of radio equipment outside the technical conditions for the use of radio frequencies by short-range devices set by decision no. 2023-1412 of July 6 and which by elsewhere disrupts a network."


Basically, MAMMOTION sells us equipment that is not even approved!!!

So I had to unplug the antenna from the robotic lawnmower and can no longer use it. I just have to hope that MAMMOTION finds a solution to this problem. A bit light for a mower sold at this price!

Basically, either unplug your robotic lawnmower or prepare to receive a visit from the ANFR.

Some news on the ANFR procedure. Obviously around ten cases identified in France and Switzerland. And to their knowledge, only 1 case where Mammotion managed to resolve the problem by updating. Mammotion tells me there's nothing they can do. I asked if they could do an exchange with a model that complies with French regulations! I'm waiting for their response (the app's after-sales service function is really not great and they're not very conversational!)

This shows the utilization of the 868 MHz band with RTK off(left) and on (right)
With RTK on, the "Carrier Sense" value increases. This value measure the utilization of the 868Mhz band. I.e. the RTK station is using way more than its legally allowed 1%!

Prenosni am radio (nastavi na najnižjo možno frekvenco) in hodi počasi ob žici ?
Se bojda sliši razlika.

Z radijem gre približno. Je pa muka, sploh na začetku, ko še nimaš prakse. Nabavi namensko za 50 €. Najdeš na 5cm natančno kje je prekinjeno.

Z radijem je težko, še posebej takrat, ko na polnilni postaji gori zelena lučka, robot pa javi "wire missing", torej je poškodovana izolacija. Potrebuješ detektor prekinjenega kabla- 25 €, ki deluje dobro, če žica ni vkopana (pregloboko). Tudi če ni, jo humus in trava preraste. Pomagaš si tako, da na vsakih nekaj metrov žico "izkoplješ". Deluje iz lastnih izkušenj. Landroid.

Če imaš kabel vkopan v zemljo (2 in več cm), potem MS6812&co ne bo zadoščal, vsaj tako pravijo kupci na amazon.de (reviews).

Najbolje se obnese metoda 'polovica', nekje na sredi dolžine žice poglej, če je signal, nato se predstaviš na polovico, kjer ga ni in spet na polovici gledaš, kje je signal (binary search v živo).

brez težav najde tudi pri vkopani. Brez sklanjanja, ker je senzor na žici.

Drugače pa dokler ga nimaš so vse metode ok, ko ga pa maš pa vidiš kako tele si bil vsa ta leta, ker je blo 50€ predrago :) Pa si taval sem pa tja pa preklaplal pa izklaplal pa nevem kaj vse da si najto. Tu pa samo greš. Ko neha piskat je to to. Z šraufncigerom odkopleš, da prideš do žice in si jo v razmaku par cm trofo.

Kdaj si ga kupil ?

Ker sodeč po ocenah je to eno navadno sranje, ki ne najde žice niti, ko je 2 mm stran, kaj šele 1 m.

Letnik naprave me zanima oz. koliko let jo imaš, ker sumim da kinezi spreminjajo samo napravo (na slabše).
Drugače si ne znam razložiti, zakaj 19% (skoraj vsak peti kupec) pravi, da zadeva ne deluje sploh.
