Aplikacije sicer v storu ne najde ampak, če jo najdeš preko browserja (google pay old app)

je bil vsaj pri meni zraven še gumb enable app. Po izbiri je spet prikazana kljub temu, da je pisalo, da v moji regiji ni podprta.

Meni ni uspelo. Ostane kakšen dan in jo potem spet onemogoči.
Ampak dovolj, da urediš kartice ali pogledaš zgodovino. Saj za samo plačevanje je ne rabiš.
Se pa strinjam, da je smotano do amena.
p.s. Mogoče če bi izklopil avtomatski update v Google Play.

Sem malo bral po forumih. Googlov support pravi, da ukinjajo aplikacijo, ker bodo funkcionalnost integrirali v sam Android.
In pošiljajo tale link za urejanje kartic:
Settings>Google>Account services>Google Pay

Tako je že prej delalo, nikoli nisem odpiral appa ob plačevanju.
Pri NFC moraš imeti nastavljeno, da je GPay privzeta aplikacija za plačevanje, pa ni treba nič zaganjati.

Verjetno ne posodabljajo core funkcionalnosti, ampak implementirajo dodatne zadeve za migracijo na novo aplikacijo. Sigurno so našli kakšni bug
