There are a lot of great reasons to drive Bolt EV. For one, it requires less maintenance than a gas vehicle – there are no oil changes or engine upkeep. This means fewer service trips and potentially more money in your pocket. Here are a few things that are good to know when it comes to Bolt EV service and maintenance:
You will need to rotate your tires every 7,500 miles.
You should replace the cabin air filter every 22,500 miles.
Don't forget to get your brakes, hoses and fluid levels checked periodically.
Also, maintenance and repair services can be performed at any certified Bolt EV Chevrolet dealer.

Interesting to see a Bolt close to a CMax. I think the Cmax was a design guide. I didn't get a chance to get in or talk to the driver. First impressions are of a CMax sized vehicle on the outside but an enormous passenger compartment. Complaints about the small back seat on a Volt don't exist on the Bolt. Rear seats are flat across and the floor space is huge. There is room for three across and still floor room for bags and pets.
The rear cargo area was covered with the spandex cover which looks just like the one on the Volt. The Volt cover is 17 inches front to back. Looks like you could get the max sized airline carry on bags for 5 back in the cargo area.
There is a roof rack on this Bolt but the cross bars were missing. There are tapped holes in the rail so it looks like the cross bars are not adjustable from front to rear.
The low belt line on the front doors means the driver may have a chance to see the parking space lines. Most cars I have to open the door and look down to see if I am out of my space.
The charge light at the center of the dash is the same as the Gen 2 Volt. A "U' shaped light that flashes according to state of charge. This Bolt was flashing 3 times (50 to 75% charged). This Bolt was probably getting a good charge from that husky CC.
Interesting to see a Bolt in a parking garage to compare with other cars. GM now has a platform for longer/larger electrics. Should be interesting.

The 2017 Bolt EV has a starting price: $37,495. As anyone who follows the plug-in vehicle scene, that number will not be a surprise. For one, it's pretty much exactly what a leak back in January suggested and what GM has been promising since first showing off the concept in early 2015. Second, when you subtract the maximum federal tax credit of $7,500, that comes to a whisker shy of $30k. And you can bet big money that we're going to see a lot of ads for Chevy's new $29,995 electric vehicle when the car goes on sale later this year.
