There have been talks that the T-90As in Syria are not operated by Syrian crew. Without being able to disclose more, these talks are false.

Also, there is a video of a T-90A of the Syrian Army getting hit with a TOW missile, this is true, the Shtora-1 system was turned off by the crew (We don't know the reason why) but it was a mistake, and shouldn't have been done (We acknowledged that) which resulting the the missile hitting the tank. However, the tank was not destroyed, and it survived the hit, none of the crew was harmed, and it was taken to a Syrian army repair and restore facility, and is back in service.
