Na Norveškem je zasilno pristalo električno letalo v lasti družbe Avinor, ki ga je izdelalo ajdovsko podjetje Pipistrel. Do incidenta je prišlo na demonstracijskemu letu, ki ga je izvajal sam direktor podjetja Avinor, njegova sopotnica je bila norveška sekretarka Martha J. Horrigmo.

A Pipistrel Virus LSA crashed under unknown circumstances after takeoff at 100 meters altitude. There was a post impact-fire.
Both occupants, a man (pilot) and a woman, died in the crash. The plane is registered in Italy.

The ultralight, registration 5SSE, was practicing takeoffs and landings on runway 03 at the airport of La Seu d'Urgell. It made an approach and then rose to a considerable altitude while turning left. Immediately afterwards, it turned right and again left before falling to the ground in a vertical attitude and impacting the base of a tree outside the airport, next to the perimeter fence. On board were the pilot and a passenger, who were killed on impact. The aircraft was destroyed.

The microlight plane crashed while trying to make an emergency landing. The plane was destroyed and consumed by post-impact fire and both military officers on board were killed.

V Indiji strmoglavilo Pipistrelovo letalo, umrl pilot #video
V Indiji je pred dnevi kmalu po vzletu na letališču Patiala na severu države strmoglavilo Pipistrelovo letalo virus SW 80 garud. Omenjeno ultralahko letalo je bilo v lasti indijske vojske, v nesreči pa je umrl pilot indijske vojske. Kopilot je huje poškodovan.
