Some manufacturers recommend oil change intervals longer than 3,000 miles to market their cars' quality or to appeal to buyers on a budget. Consumers, already paying on auto loans, are reluctant to spend money for maintenance and embrace these extended intervals.
Quick lube shops competing for your business cave into pressure for bargain oil changes. To cut costs, they might buy single weight oil in bulk or use recycled oil. They use cheaper, less durable oil filters. Low-wage, inexperienced technicians sometimes make servicing mistakes when trying to work faster.

Na strani, kjer so objavljene slike piše, da je vozilo imelo prevoženih 8.700 milj (torej je bilo praktično novo). Tole skoraj zagotovo ni nastalo zaradi starega olja, ampak se je med olje pomešal antifriz, potem pa res nastane to (zelo hitro), kar je vidno na sliki.
Je pa tip amater, da gre čistit gumice ventilov ...Če razstaviš glavo, se gumice vedno menja.

Kamelci ne nabiji mamico ti spalim. Na 15k sem dozdej menju filtre pa olje. Do 180k je bil pa pri sublju servisiran in je knjizca stemplana. Enkrat ko sm su svasat auspuh mi je majstr reku da naj bi bil kolektor pocen in da zato ropota ampak da to ni nic kriticnega. Zdej itak za ta velcga dnar skupi dajem =)
